Scotland County voters will cast ballots in local, state and federal races for the primary election on March 3.

In-person early voting begins February 12 and ends February 28.

Some takeaways so far:

  • A new sheriff will be elected, as current Sheriff Ralph Kersey is not seeking reelection.
