But in Lake Waccamaw, Mayor Matthew Wilson lost his seat, according to unofficial results from the North Carolina State Board of Elections.
Sandyfield voters approved a referendum to allow the sale of malt beverages, unfortified wine, and mixed drinks.
More than 2,300 people cast ballots in the election—25.51 percent of eligible voters.
